DEVELOPMENT OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY
DOI: 10.17804/2410-9908.2024.5.006-029 Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Works JSC (KUMZ JSC, Sverdlovsk Region) celebrates its 80th anniversary. On May 5, 1944, the first stage of the works was launched; this date is considered the birthday of KUMZ (then Works No. 268). Historically, the enterprise, its manufacturing base, and intellectual resources were focused on the needs of high-tech industries, namely aerospace, construction, shipbuilding, nuclear energy, oil and gas industry, transportation engineering.
