USE OF ELASTIC WAVE REFLECTION MECHANISM FOR DETERMINING CONTACT STRESSES IN SHROUDED TOOLS
DOI: 10.17804/2410-9908.2015.1.041-047 The paper presents an ultrasonic method for determining the acting mechanical stresses in the matrix-band contact layer in the shrouded tools for pressing. It also deals with a physical model based on the theory of wave propagation in porous laminated structures. The results of monitoring the shrouded tools are presented.
